Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State and City Boy Movement Coordinator, Ogbia LGA, Abe Morris, has urged Bayelsa youths to shun violence and support President Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 general election.
Speaking in an interview at the sidelines of the burial of Late Chief (Mrs.) Violet Nwamaka IEgirani in Agama Town, Ogbia Local Government Area, Morris emphasized the importance of peaceful elections, saying, “As youths, we should eschew violence and not allow ourselves to be used as tools for electoral violence.
He further emphasized that It’s time for the youths to focus on the policies, programmes, and manifestos of our party and persuade people to support the party rather than engaging on actions to derail the electoral process.
Morris, who has served as Coordinator, Bayelsa Volunteers, Ogbia, assured that he would work to bring youths together, build confidence, and operate an open-door policy.
“Integrity matters, and I have demonstrated this in my previous roles. I will ensure that the youths are carried along and that we work together to build a stronger party,” he said.
As City Boy Movement Coordinator, Ogbia LGA, Morris pledged to mobilize support for President Tinubu’s re-election, citing the President’s achievements, including the appointment of an Ogbia son as Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
He noted as a mark of appreciation for the appointment of Ogbia son as MD NDDC “We will go to the grassroots and educate people on the good works of Mr. President. We owe him a debt of gratitude, and we will support his re-election bid,” Morris said.
